About Our Pastor

The Rev. Dori Peterson-Zubizarreta has accepted the call to serve the Bitterroot parishes as our priest. Dori has been serving as chaplain at an orphanage in Chiapas, Mexico. Her husband, Pedro, is the director there and will be joining her in Montana as soon as his replacement is found. Dori grew up in Denton, MT and is excited to be coming home. We are equally excited to have her among us! Welcome and bienvenidos!

"This is the table, not of the Church, but of the Lord. It has been made ready for those who love him and who want to love him more. So, come, you who have much faith and you who have little, you who have been here often and you who have not been for a long time, you who have tried to follow and you who have failed. Come, it is our Lord who invites you."

St. Stephen's is an Episcopal community, gathered in a store front church. We are honored to serve the people of our town and our world.
